Farooq Abdullah warns Jammu and Kashmir voters not to vote for National Conference after Article 370 abrogation

The National Conference president, Mr. Abdullah, recently urged the people of the Union Territory to unite and defeat the BJP and its affiliated “B” and “C” teams. He emphasized the need to send a strong message to Delhi by voting against these parties.

Mr. Abdullah chaired a meeting with constituency in-charges of the North Kashmir parliamentary seat at the party headquarters in Srinagar. The discussions covered critical issues regarding the region and organizational affairs, with a focus on strengthening the party for the upcoming parliamentary elections.

He reiterated the importance of defeating the BJP and its allies, stating that these parties have shown a tacit understanding with the BJP. He expressed confidence that the people are prepared to give the BJP a fitting response through the ballot.

Mr. Abdullah emphasized the growing discontent against the BJP and stressed the need to demonstrate this dissatisfaction. He highlighted the increasing realization among the people of Jammu about the BJP’s failure to fulfill its promises and urged them to vote against the BJP and its affiliated teams.

He also raised concerns about the “naked support” of the BJP’s affiliated “B” teams and warned against their attempts to undermine the NC candidates. Mr. Abdullah urged people to directly vote for the BJP if they support them, rather than indirectly through other affiliated parties.
