Amit Shah Takes a Swipe at Congress for Plundering Country for Many Years

Amit Shah criticized the INDIA alliance, stating that after a long wait, the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya was finally obtained. He mentioned the Congress’s claim that the Pran Prathishtha was not done correctly, and warned that if they came into power, they would lock the mandir. Shah also accused the Congress of engaging in dynastic politics, citing examples of Lalu Yadav, Mamata Banerjee, and Sonia Gandhi’s desires to promote family members in politics. He emphasized that the people should decide rather than the family.

Shah also condemned the Congress for its stance on Article 370, asserting that while the Congress did not take action against it, Prime Minister Modi abrogated the article and effectively tackled terrorism. Shah claimed that Pakistan-occupied Kashmir also belongs to India and expressed a lack of fear regarding the matter. Moreover, he accused the Congress of being corrupt and vowed that the Modi government would imprison all corrupt individuals. Praising the development in Uttar Pradesh under the Modi government, Shah highlighted the achievements, such as the construction of expressways, the establishment of a metro network, the establishment of medical colleges, and the creation of a film city and toy park.

He credited Yogi Adityanath for eliminating crime in the state. Notably, Amethi and Raebareli, traditional strongholds of the Gandhi family, have regained attention as Rahul Gandhi has entered the fray in Rae Bareli, and the family’s close aide has been fielded against Smriti Irani in Amethi. The Congress had won only two seats in Uttar Pradesh in 2014, but the tally reduced to one in 2019 after losing Amethi.
