Amit Shah Takes Aim at Congress for Plundering the Country for Many Years

Amit Shah criticized the India alliance, emphasizing the delayed construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya and the Congress’s skepticism about the legitimacy of the Pran Prathishtha. He expressed concern that the Congress would impose restrictions on the temple if they came to power. Shah also condemned dynastic politics within the Congress, citing examples of leaders promoting their family members for political roles.

He underscored the importance of the people’s choice in determining political representation rather than dynastic entitlement. In addition, Shah criticized the Congress’s approach to Article 370, crediting Prime Minister Modi for its abrogation and asserting India’s claim over Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Furthermore, Shah accused the Congress of corruption, vowing to apprehend corrupt individuals under the Modi government.

He praised the development in Uttar Pradesh under the “double engine” government and applauded Yogi Adityanath’s governance. The focus then turned to the upcoming elections in Amethi and Raebareli, traditional strongholds of the Gandhi family. Rahul Gandhi’s entry into the fray in Raebareli and the party’s candidate in Amethi were highlighted, with a reminder that Congress had previously won only two seats in Uttar Pradesh, which reduced to one after the loss of Amethi in the 2019 elections.
