Amit Shah Takes Dig at Congress: “Country Looted for Many Years

In a recent speech, Amit Shah criticized the INDIA alliance, specifically targeting the Congress. He asserted that the Congress has engaged in dynastic politics, highlighting the ambitions of leaders like Lalu Yadav, Mamata Banerjee, and Sonia Gandhi for their family members to hold political positions.

He emphasized the importance of letting the people decide instead of reserving seats for specific families. Shah also criticized the Congress’s handling of Article 370, commending Modi’s decision to abrogate it and asserting that it has helped in curbing terrorism.

He also accused the Congress of corruption and promised that the Modi government would take action against corrupt individuals. Shah praised the progress in Uttar Pradesh under the leadership of Modi and Yogi Adityanath, citing developments such as expressways, a metro network, medical colleges, a film city, and a toy park.

He also emphasized the government’s efforts in addressing lawlessness in the state. The focus then shifted to the upcoming elections in Amethi and Raebareli, traditionally considered strongholds of the Gandhi family.

Shah pointed out the significance of these constituencies as Rahul Gandhi has entered the fray in Raebareli and a close aide of the Gandhi family is contesting against Smriti Irani in Amethi. The Congress’s declining electoral performance in Uttar Pradesh was also mentioned.
