Amit Shah Takes Swipe at Congress for Plundering Country for Many Years

Amit Shah recently criticized the Congress and spoke about various issues including the Ram Mandir, dynastic politics, Article 370, corruption, and development in Uttar Pradesh. He accused the Congress of playing dynastic politics, claiming that they reserve seats for their family members and lashed out at them over Article 370, stating that Prime Minister Modi abrogated it. Shah also accused the Congress of corruption and expressed confidence that the Modi government would put the corrupt in jail.

He praised the development in Uttar Pradesh under the leadership of Modi and Yogi Adityanath, highlighting the infrastructure projects such as expressways, metro networks, medical colleges, film city, and toy park. Amethi and Raebareli, considered to be strongholds of the Gandhi family, have become a point of focus again as Rahul Gandhi entered the fray in Rae Bareli and the party’s close aide was fielded against Smriti Irani in Amethi. The tally of Congress seats in Uttar Pradesh decreased from two in 2014 to just one in 2019 after the party lost Amethi.
