Amit Shah Takes Swipe at Congress: Country Looted for Many Years

Amit Shah criticized the INDIA alliance, emphasizing that the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya was achieved after a long wait. He expressed skepticism about the Congress’s stance on the Pran Prathishtha and warned that the party might impose restrictions on the temple if they come into power.

He accused the Congress of engaging in dynastic politics, citing examples of leaders like Lalu Yadav, Mamata Banerjee, and Sonia Gandhi promoting their family members for political positions. Shah stressed that the people should have the final say in such matters and rejected the idea that certain seats belong to specific families.

Shah also lambasted the Congress for its stance on Article 370, asserting that it was Prime Minister Modi who revoked it and effectively addressed terrorism in the country. He claimed that Pakistan-occupied Kashmir rightfully belongs to India and asserted that the country has no reason to fear.

Describing the Congress as corrupt, Shah declared that the Modi government would ensure that all corrupt individuals are held accountable and put behind bars. He praised the development in Uttar Pradesh under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath and highlighted the state’s progress in various sectors such as infrastructure, healthcare, and entertainment.

The focus then shifted to the constituencies of Amethi and Raebareli, which are historically linked to the Gandhi family. The upcoming elections in these constituencies have drawn attention, particularly with Rahul Gandhi contesting in Rae Bareli and the Congress fielding Kishori Lal Sharma against Smriti Irani in Amethi.

Despite its previous stronghold in these areas, the Congress’s electoral success in Uttar Pradesh has diminished in recent years.
