Farooq Abdullah warns Jammu and Kashmir voters not to vote for National Conference if… Article 370 is abrogated.

The National Conference leader made an appeal to the people of the Union Territory to defeat the BJP and its “B” and “C” teams in order to send a strong message to Delhi. This appeal came during a meeting chaired by Mr. Abdullah with constituency in-charges of the North Kashmir parliamentary seat at the party headquarters Nawa-i-Subah in Srinagar, as mentioned in a statement released by the party.

The discussions during the meeting covered crucial matters concerning the region’s issues and organisational affairs, with a key emphasis on strengthening the party for the parliamentary elections. Mr. Abdullah emphasized the need to defeat the BJP and its allies, stating that these parties have demonstrated a tacit understanding with the BJP and that the people are ready to give them a befitting reply through the ballot.

He also highlighted the groundswell of anger against the BJP and stressed the necessity of demonstrating this anger. Mr. Abdullah further discussed the increasing realization among the people of Jammu that the BJP has failed to fulfill its promises on development and has deprived them of their rights and contracts.

Additionally, he mentioned that BJP’s “B” teams are openly supporting the party ahead of the Lok Sabha polls, and he warned that any efforts by these teams to defeat NC candidates would be futile. Mr. Abdullah urged the people to send a clear message to Delhi and stressed that those who are satisfied with the decision made on August 5, 2019, should not vote for the National Conference.
