NEET Paper Leak: Bihar Deputy CM Vijay Kumar Sinha Links to Tejashwi Yadav admin, June 19, 2024 The main accused in the paper leak case is a close relative of Tejashwi Yadav’s PS, according to the Deputy CM. The Economic Offences Unit (EOU) of Bihar Police is conducting the investigation and has identified Sikandar Yadvendu, a junior engineer in the municipal committee of Danapur, as the kingpin of the NEET question paper leak case. “Sikandar Yadvendu is a close relative of Tejashwi Yadav’s PS Pritam Kumar,” said Deputy CM. He also mentioned that an NHAI guest house was booked for Sikandar’s sister Reena Yadav and son Anurag Yadav to stay on May 4. A phone number and ‘Mantri Ji’ were cited in the diary of the NHAI guest house, leading the investigating agency to make efforts to identify this Mantri Ji. Furthermore, the Deputy CM, who also holds the road construction portfolio, has ordered an inquiry into the booking of the NHAI guest house. He stated his determination to conduct a thorough investigation to uncover any officers or employees working at the behest of Tejashwi Yadav, asserting that the entire system of RJD is based on crime and corruption. The EOU has found evidence that the NEET 2024 question papers were leaked, with the examination being held on May 5 and the question paper being leaked a day earlier on May 4. The kingpin, Sikandar Yadavendu, has been arrested, and the EOU claims that he made several candidates memorize the answers by providing them with the question paper in advance. On May 5, Reena Yadav was arrested from the NHAI guest house, where an OMR sheet was also found. Anurag’s name, along with ‘Mantri Ji,’ was listed in the guest house’s register. Sikandar, a resident of Samastipur, had previously worked as a contractor in Ranchi and became a junior engineer in 2012.
