Visuals obtained by NDTV showed a pre-exam ‘cram session’ involving numerous participants studying the leaked paper, with each candidate agreeing to pay Rs 7 lakh after the exam. Ravi Attri and Abhishek Shukla allegedly procured the question paper and answer keys, and had been involved in a similar case in 2015. The arrest of 18 individuals, including TCI staffers Shivam Giri and Rohit Pandey, as well as Abhishek Shukla, shed light on the extent of the operation. The accused, with the assistance of safe-cracking expert Mandal, broke into a warehouse to obtain the question papers, taking caution to avoid detection by the CCTV cameras. Despite their initial success, some were arrested, leading to the disruption of their plan.
