PM Narendra Modi’s 2024 Lok Sabha Election: Kalyan Singh’s Dedication to Ram Temple Earns High Praise

The Prime Minister addressed a BJP rally in Uttar Pradesh’s Pilibhit in support of party candidate Jitin Prasada. He mentioned Kalyan Singh ji, who dedicated his life and government to the Ram Temple.

The Prime Minister criticized the INDI alliance for their opposition to the temple’s construction. He noted that following the temple’s demolition, Singh stepped down as Chief Minister, and the PV Narasimha Rao government dismissed the state government and imposed President’s Rule.

Singh’s government also withdrew cases against the accused in the Babri case during his second term as Chief Minister. The Prime Minister mentioned Singh’s return to the BJP and subsequent service as Governor in two states.

He highlighted that Singh, along with other BJP leaders, including Lal Krishna Advani, were acquitted by a CBI special court in the Babri Masjid demolition case. The court ruled that the demolition was “not pre-planned.”

The Prime Minister criticized the Congress for rejecting the invitation to the temple’s consecration ceremony and insulting Lord Ram. He also mentioned the party’s choice of Jitin Prasada, who switched from the Congress in 2021.

Regarding the Statue of Unity, the Prime Minister noted the absence of visits from prominent Congress or Samajwadi Party leaders. He also brought up the 1984 anti-Sikh riots in the aftermath of Indira Gandhi’s assassination, criticizing the Samajwadi Party for supporting the Congress.

The Prime Minister reiterated the BJP’s support for the Sikh community and emphasized the party’s firm stance on the issue.
