Elon Musk Congratulates PM Modi On Becoming Most Followed Leader On X

Elon Musk congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on becoming the most followed world leader on the social media platform X, previously known as Twitter. Musk’s tweet commending PM Modi’s achievement was posted on Friday. PM Modi’s number of followers on X recently reached 100 million, making him the second most followed world politician after former US President Barack Obama, who has over 131 million followers on the platform. Donald Trump, the Republican presidential nominee for the 2024 elections and former US President, holds the third spot with more than 87 million followers on X.

US President Joe Biden ranks fourth with over 38 million followers. Following Biden are Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Hillary Clinton. In terms of overall followers on X, Tesla CEO Elon Musk holds the top position with over 190 million followers, having acquired Twitter (now X) in October 2022. Following Musk, Barack Obama holds the second spot.

Star Portugal striker Cristiano Ronaldo comes in at third with more than 112 million followers, followed by Canadian musician Justin Bieber and Barbadian singer Rihanna.
