3 Killed in Kedarnath Landslide, 8 Injured Transported to Hospital

Eight people were injured in an accident that took place between Gaurikund and Chirbasa in Kedarnath, a town in Rudraprayag district known for the famous Kedarnath Temple. Additionally, three individuals lost their lives in this incident, with one of them being identified as a resident of the Rudraprayag district.

Earlier on the same day, the Gangotri National Highway near Bishanpur was closed due to a landslide. The region has been experiencing heavy rains over the past few weeks, leading to multiple landslides that have blocked some of Uttarakhand’s major highways.
