Boyfriend fatally stabs 20-year-old near Mumbai and dumps body in bushes, say police.

Five teams have been assembled to locate the missing boyfriend of a young woman whose body was discovered near the Uran railway station in Navi Mumbai. Deputy Commissioner of Police Vivek Pansare revealed that the police received a call at approximately 2 am reporting the discovery of the girl’s body in the nearby bushes. The body showed signs of multiple injuries and stab wounds, indicating a brutal murder. The victim, identified as 20-year-old Yashashree Shinde, had been reported missing.

She was a resident of Uran and worked in Belapur, located about 25 km away. According to officials, their preliminary investigation suggests that the woman was killed in connection with a failed love affair. The woman’s boyfriend has also gone missing and is considered the primary suspect in the case. A murder case has been registered, and five police teams have been created to search for him.
