Parliament Monsoon Session Updates: Budget Discussions Continue in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha Today

The budget session of Parliament is set to end on August 12. Both Houses are expected to experience turbulence over the Union Budget.

Anurag Thakur, former Union Minister, engaged in heated exchanges with Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav in Lok Sabha. This altercation took place during a debate on Budget 2024, where Thakur made a remark about Mr. Gandhi’s comments on Mahabharata.

The budget session commenced on July 22 and is slated to conclude on August 12.
