AAP and Dushyant Chautala’s JJP refuse to discuss pre-poll alliance in Haryana.

Senior AAP leader Sandeep Pathak spoke at Fatehabad and dismissed the suggestion of any ongoing discussion about a tie-up with the JJP for the upcoming October 1 polls. Instead, he emphasized that his party will soon announce its candidates for the assembly polls.

Mr. Pathak clarified to reporters that there is no discussion about an alliance with the JJP, firmly stating this at a meeting with party workers and office-bearers in Fatehabad and Bhiwani. Moreover, Mr. Pathak criticized the JJP’s Dushyant Chautala for allegedly spreading confusion about an alliance.

On the other hand, Dushyant Chautala, a former deputy chief minister of Haryana, declared his party’s readiness to contest all 90 seats in the state, expressing confidence in securing more seats than in the last elections. Despite claims by the AAP last month that it will contest all 90 Assembly seats in Haryana, Mr. Chautala indicated that the JJP has not engaged in any discussions about forming an alliance yet.

He also made a remark about the AAP’s alliance with the Congress. In response, Mr. Pathak stated that Aam Aadmi Party workers will actively campaign, going door-to-door to create awareness about Arvind Kejriwal’s “guarantees” and persuade people to vote for change.
