India-US Partnership Reaches New Heights, Says US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan

The partnership between the US and India, a country in BRICs, has reached new heights across technology, security, and various other dimensions, according to NSA Jake Sullivan. He made these comments at a White House news conference while addressing questions about the decline in American leadership in the world.

Sullivan expressed confidence in the US role and standing in its relationships across key regions worldwide. He highlighted the expansion of NATO and the historic trilateral engagement with the US, Japan, and the Philippines as evidence of their strong global connections.

He also discussed the upgrades in relations with traditional allies and other nations in the Indo-Pacific region. The NSA mentioned the upcoming state visit by the president of Kenya as a significant event and emphasized the US’s increasing investments in infrastructure across the Americas, Africa, Southeast Asia, and beyond.

Sullivan informed that the US has communicated its concerns to China regarding inputs to Russia’s industrial base. While there is no evidence of direct military aid to Russia, the US has expressed concerns about contributions to Russia’s defense industrial base.
