Xiaomi 14 Series Confirmado para Lanzamiento Global el 25 de Febrero

Xiaomi has announced the global launch date for its new 14 series of smartphones. These phones will be the first to feature Xiaomi’s HyperOS user interface.

The flagship Ultra model, which was initially rumored to launch during the 2024 Mobile World Congress, is set to be part of this series. The 14 series is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, Adreno 750 GPU, and up to 16GB of RAM, running on Android 14-based HyperOS.

The phones are also expected to come with various display and camera features, as well as notable battery and charging capabilities. The Ultra model is likely to feature a 6.7-inch 2K AMOLED 120Hz display, ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, and a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-900 primary sensor in its quad rear camera setup.

It is rumored to have a 5,180mAh battery with 90W wired and 50W wireless charging support. Meanwhile, the global variants of the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro are expected to share similar specifications as their Chinese counterparts.

The base model is equipped with a 6.36-inch LTPO AMOLED 1.5K display and a 4,610mAh battery with 90W wired, 50W wireless, and 10W wireless reverse charging support. The Pro model, on the other hand, features a Leica-branded triple rear camera setup with a 32-megapixel front camera, starting at CNY 4,999 for the 12GB + 256GB option in China.

The base model, with 8GB + 256GB variant, starts at CNY 3,999. In addition to Xiaomi’s announcement, Samsung also unveiled its Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 alongside the Galaxy Tab S9 series and Galaxy Watch 6 series at its first Galaxy Unpacked event in South Korea.
