Drone Footage Captures Terrorist Seeking Cover in Jammu and Kashmir Before Being Engulfed in Army Fire.

At Baramulla’s Chak Tapper Kreeri, a successful operation was carried out by the Army’s 10 Sector Rashtriya Rifles, resulting in the elimination of three “hardcore” terrorists and the recovery of a significant quantity of arms and ammunition, according to Commander Brigadier Sanjay Kannoth. Drone footage from the operation captured one of the terrorists fleeing towards trees near the house’s compound wall, eventually falling and crawling a few meters before succumbing to gunfire. This operation is deemed a significant success for the security forces amid recent losses in the region.

Additionally, in a separate encounter in Kupwara, two army soldiers were killed in action. Brigadier Kannoth stated that specific intelligence led to the cordoning off of the location where the unidentified terrorists were suspected to be hiding. The terrorists fired upon the troops, prompting a response in line with standard operating procedures.

The following morning, the professional engagement of the troops resulted in the neutralization of the terrorists without any harm to civilian life or property. It is worth noting that the forthcoming assembly election in Jammu and Kashmir is scheduled to be held in three phases, commencing on September 18.
